Я:
And I wanted to ask you a few questions about it.
1) Do you remember what color and smell and consistency were your feces when you were healthy?
2) whether the color has changed, and the smell of your fecal when you are ill with ulcerative colitis?
3) whether the changed color and smell of your feces, since when did you start doing FMT?
И он отвечает:
1) Yes my stool was brown and solid, probably a 3 or 4 on the bristol stool scale. The bristol stool scale is a great thing to show potential donors to see if they are having desirable bowel movements.
2) The color has not changed, it has always been brown but the smell has. When I was experiencing ulcerative colitis symptoms my stool/flatulence smell much more like sulfer and was quite strong. I think the reason for this is an overgrowth of sulfate reducing bacteria, for this reason I believe that natural and or prescription antibiotics are necessary prior to FMT.
3) After FMT I have less bowel movements and the smell is less noticeable, less sulfer smell, and less gas all around.
Вот такие дела господа.....
